Q:  What is the price?
A:  Your net price is determined by your local Chicago Metallic Dealer, Distributor or Import/Export Supplier and not by us. Your Chicago Metallic Supplier receives a substantial discount from the factory-published list prices, then adds the costs of freight, duty, tax, tariff, handling and any other costs associated with getting the product to your local market place, before quoting you a net price. Chicago Metallic Smallwares are sold only through recognized Foodservice and Bakery Dealer, Distributor or Import/Export Suppliers.

Q:  Do you have these in stock and how soon can I get them?
A:  Small to medium orders ship within three to five days. Large or unusually high order quantities can ship any time between three days and four weeks, depending upon when our inventory replenishment order was placed and how many you ordered. We can confirm our available inventory and your lead time when you place your order. Call ahead if the quantity is unusually large. Click here to Contact Smallwares Customer Service.

Q:  Do you have something close to these specifications of this certain pan?
A:  Any of our Sales Representatives can help you identify the specifications of your pan and compare them to our stock pan that might be closest to the specification of your pan. If that stock pan is not close enough, we can make it for you on a custom-produced made-to-your-specification basis. For more information on ordering made-to-order baking pans, click on View Made-To-Order Information.

Q:  Can I get a catalog?
A:  Yes, here are several sources of our Smallwares Catalog: from our website; from the Smallwares Customer Service Department as an attachment to an e-mail; from your Sales Representative at your local Chicago Metallic Supplier; from your local Chicago Metallic Manufacturer's Sales Representative or Import/Export Sales Representative; from Chicago Metallic's Exhibit Booth at any of the world's Trade Show/Expositions/Exhibitions listed on our Upcoming Event Calendar (click on View Upcoming Events to view or print Chicago Metallic's Trade Show Calendar); or, from Chicago Metallic by mail. Click Send me a Catalog to request a catalog from Chicago Metallic.

Q:  How can I get a sample?
A:  By requesting a sample from your local Chicago Metallic Sales Representative.

Q:  Who is my Local Chicago Metallic Sales Representative?
A:  First, ask your favorite supplier if he or she sells Chicago Metallic's Smallwares Products. If not, ask another supplier, or click here to Locate the Chicago Metallic Contact in Your Area of the World. You can also click here to E-Mail Smallwares Customer Service and request the name of the authorized Chicago Metallic Supplier that is closest to you.

Q:  How long does the silicon glaze coating (AmeriCoat PLUS) last?
A:  AmeriCoat PLUS usually lasts between 400 and 600 bake cycles. The actual number depends upon several factors: the formulation of the baked product, the type and amount of pan oil used, the baking temperature and the way the pan is cleaned and handled. To learn more about how to extend the useful life of glazed baking pans, click on View Cleaning/Handling Guidelines For Glazed Bakeware.

Q:  What is AMERICOAT PLUS Glaze?
A:  AMERICOAT PLUS Glaze is a silicon bakery release coating designed to enable the baked product to easily release from the baking pan with very little sticking, even on the very first bake. Over time the glaze will wear off, but by that time the oils have built up and will provide you with the same easy release. For more information, click on View AMERICOAT PLUS Glaze.

Q:  How do I specify the Chicago Metallic pan that I want?
A:  The easiest way is to use the 5-digit Item Number listed in the Smallwares catalog. Other ways to specify pans include: reading the "stock" or "model" number that was stamped into the existing pan - note that the stock number is not the same as the 5-digit Item Number, but it is referenced in our Smallwares Catalog; measuring the top inside dimension of each individual mould size (i.e. the diameter at the top of the mould, if it's round - the length and width at the top of the mould, if it's square or rectangular) - most baking pans are commonly referred to by the top inside dimensions of the individual mould (a 2-3/4" Muffin Pan or a 4-1/2" by 8-1/2" Bread Pan, for example). You may also specify pans by: noting the arrangement of the moulds (i.e. three rows of four); identifying the type of metal used (steel or aluminum, for example); measuring the distance between the centers of each mould - both through the length and through the width - technically known as the distance on-center through the length and width; or, simply, by finding the invoice that the pan came in on the last time it was ordered and using the same 5-digit item number!

Q:  I want to purchase a pan I once bought from American Pan Company.
A:  In 2005, Chicago Metallic was purchased by the Bundy Family, owners of American Pan Company. To view (or print) a list of Chicago Metallic Item Numbers referenced to the old American Pan Stock Pan Numbers, click on View Item Number Conversion Chart.

Q:  Are you an Exhibitor at the Trade Show or Exhibition that is scheduled to be in my area soon?
A:  Click on Upcoming Events for an up-to-date listing of Chicago Metallic Smallwares' scheduled Trade Show/Exhibitions. If you would like information about obtaining an admissions badge to any of the Trade Shows listed on the Upcoming Event Calendar, click here to Contact your Smallwares Customer Service Representative.

Q:  I ordered the wrong thing, how can I return it?
A:  By requesting a Return Authorization (R/A) Number from your local Chicago Metallic Sales Representative or from Chicago Metallic's Smallwares Customer Service Department. Only stock pans purchased within the last twelve months may be returned. Authorized return shipment freight must be prepaid and the R/A number must be clearly marked on each carton label. Returned items are to be repackaged adequately for safe transportation and must be received in sellable condition to receive a credit for the amount of the purchase price less our 20% Restocking Fee.
